This bill is about 50 years over due in
Georgia.
State Rep. Timothy Bearden (R-Villa Rica)
"We are living in a violent world today," Bearden said. "I just feel like if we had more freedoms under the Second Amendment, there would be a lot less crime out there because the criminals would be a lot more hesitant before they try to rob, rape, kill someone else."
The article also mentions Georgia has a concealed carry permit law, and one opponent suggests this new bill is not needed.
I say get a ccw permit AND have a gun stuffed between the cushions. You can't always have the gun on you, let's at least make sure you can have one in your car anywhere you choose to have it.
