I would like to know what this guy's thoughts are today. Unfortunately, if someone had a ccw permit on campus the death toll might possibly have been lower. The thing about having a "no-gun zone" college is that the perpetrator knows that, and does not have to worry about being shot at. You can pass all the laws you like about not having guns on campus, unfortunately the only people who abide by the law are the lawful.

Here is Virginia Tech policy on firearms. Those poor souls could not defend themselves.

Seems the state tried to get them to allow ccw, but the university was going to have none of it.
