Not that I am in favor with anything in this article, it is an interesting read. Carbon trading is a dumb idea when all your doing is offsetting carbon with "credits". But the writer feels that a straight forward carbon tax would be better. By doing that you give the government that money directly, which in my view is a even worse idea.
