This is not the type of post I would normally do, but
this story caught my attention, as it should with anyone who has a heart and lives free.
Just a reminder to be thankful for all you have because of what was sacrificed by others. Some lose more than others, so give generously to organizations that help those in the military that are in need.
Here are a couple of suggestions:
Semper Fi Fund - Hugh Hewitt has an annual show with them and have got to listen first hand from soldiers who were helped by the fund. This is a no-nonsense organization. If they find an injured soldier in need they ask how they can help and they write them a check-end of story.
Soldiers Angels - Another great organization that sends goods and services to soldiers over-seas. Started by a mother who saw the need and took control.
The USO - The long time organization that has been giving to the soldiers since the beginning. They bring a little bit of home to those on the battle front.
