A group of
Southern Babtists have decided to throw their towel in with the global warming nutters. They don't expect all christians to buy into it though.
The signers of "A Southern Baptist Declaration on the Environment and Climate Change" acknowledged that not all Christians accept the science behind global warming. They said they do not expect fellow believers to back any proposed solutions that would violate Scripture, such as advocating population control through abortion.
Okay, who has advocated that? Outside of maybe the Chinese government and a few African countries who use that as a means of controlling their own countries populations, I have never heard anyone say that was okay.
