Baseball, Apple Pie, And Global Warming

   I am glad that so many people are so concerened about the warming of our planet. Now Japan's calling foul on climate change. By shortening  game time by 12 minutes,  Nippon Proffesional Baseball  is going to help by doing their part to strike out climate change.How that will make a difference is anyones guess.
    I would be happy with about an hour shorter baseball games anyway. Don't get me wrong, I like going to games and getting into the whole beer and hotdog thing. But sometimes the game gets caught in an extra long inning or it goes into extra innings, and it can drag on and on and on...untill you just get up and leave. You don't want too, but you simply can't sit there for five hours waiting for a game to end.
 
   I say, drop three innings and if why save a little energy and slow down global warming in the process, hey, even better.
