Just found out today that Colorado State University on August 5th upped, yet again,
their hurricane forecast for 2008. here are the new numbers:
17 Named Storms
9 Hurricanes
5 Instense Hurricanes
We have had five named storms so far, three tropical storms and two hurricanes, one being classified as intense (Bertha).Unless we have a totally abnormal rest of the season, I don't see it happening. But, we may be surprised?!
