Michael Mann Blames Palin In WaPo Article

It is funny what people use to defend their actions or their colleagues actions. In todays Washington Post Op-Ed section climate guru Michael Mann writes an open letter explaining the "hide the decline" phrase and the "trick" in data plotting from hacked emails out of the CRU in Britain.
Of course, he says nothing new except that he attempts to compare all the deniers to former Alaska Govenor Sarah Palin. It is a dead give-away to his political leanings. All those on the left hate Palin and they use her as their whipping-boy (or girl) to play to their base. Of course outside of Palin being a talking head and a darling of the right, what does she axactly have to do with the hacked emails?

What most people would like to know is why his colleagues would keep data from other scientists? Also, why the original climate data was destroyed? These are questions that he did not answer, and questions he can't or won't answer. The fact is, even though I agree that these emails do not prove man-made global warming is false, it does bring into question the data they are using and the people who are using it. Science is a joke with this groupl of people. What scientist throws out their original data when working on a theory? What scientist denys another scientist their data for fact checking? Apparently his colleagues.

Because of these stolen emails, the vail has been torn and we now see what kind of "scientists" these people really are. The give science a bad name.
